The Second Act Artworks is all about Art for a Cause. As a lifelong volunteer, I’ve seen firsthand the impact organizations have in their local communities and habitats. When I retired from more years in public relations that I’m willing to count (ran out of fingers and toes…) I wanted to do more to make the world a better place. This is one of the ways I’m doing it.
You won’t find my paintings in any gallery. I sell directly, online, or through art shows. If the sale is direct or through this website, I work with the buyer on a mutually agreeable charity to benefit from the sale of the art. If the sale is from another online platform, or from an art show, then I choose the charity. Groups that have benefited to date are in the areas of serving women and children in need, unhoused and disabled veterans, environmental causes, and social justice organizations.

I am always looking for new ideas for paintings, and I have done several commissions from photographs provided by the buyer. I also have a large amount of wonderful photos I’ve taken in my travels that I can turn into that perfect painting for you.
